About the role
What being a companion looks like.
Our companions are the heart of what we do. You'll spend time with people who genuinely look forward to your visit — sharing tea, conversation, and small moments of help that make the day easier.
- Provide friendly conversation and emotional support
- Assist with light household tasks (laundry, tidying, meal prep)
- Help with shopping and errands
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings
- Encourage independence and wellbeing
Requirements
We hire for warmth, then train for everything else. To apply you'll need to meet the following:
- Kind, patient, and reliable
- Strong communication skills
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Willing to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
- Able to provide 2 references
- Previous experience is helpful but not required
